650. Rare Irish Belleek Porcelain Flower Vase Holy Water Font First Period Black Mark 1863-1891


An Extremely Rare Early Irish Belleek Porcelain Wall Flower Pocket or Good Size Holy Water Font of outstanding quality and good condition. 

First Period Black Mark for 1863-1891.

Modelled as a cluster of acorns with a large branch of entwined vine leaves 

Condition: Superb condition for such an early piece, with no evidence of any restoration anywhere, except for an old staple at back, possibly to keep firm, impressed mark to base "BELLEEK" with Irish Wolfhound, Round Tower and a Harp.  

Height: (an impressive) 13.5" (34.5cm). Width: 6.75” (17.25cm). Protrudence: 3.75” (9.5cm).
