A Very Stylish Mid 19th Century Nicely Figured Blond Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy with Ivory edges of small proportions.
The slightly domed hinged lid above a scallop profile front and rear, both sides of concave profile. The lid opening to a tea compartment with a single cover, fitted with a small knob ivory handle. The front edge with an oval escutcheon, standing on four small Tagua Nut (vegetable ivory) bun feet.
