An Exceptionally Fine Quality Hand Decorated in underglaze blue and white ground Chinese Export Large Deep Dish of Centerpiece of Octagonal outline with canted corners, of exceptional quality and good condition, last quarter of the Eighteenth Century, Qing Dynasty Period.
The central rectangular reserve painted with a busy village scene, depicting tall trees, Pagodas and fishing vessels, the outer rim with unusual foliate scrolls and Chrysanthemums.
Condition: Good condition for such an early piece, no losses and no restoration anywhere, some slight wear to glaze at edges. Plate is typically unmarked, guaranteed to be of the period catalogued.
