Absolutely stunning English Sterling Silver Lady's Jewlery Casket of true quality and generous heavy gauge. First quarter of the Twentieth Century.  

The outer case with an unusual ribbed surface opening to reveal a wonderful gilt interior. The central front with an applied solid gold rope decoration detailling.

Mark of A. Wilcox Silversmith, Nursery Road, Hockley, Birmingham.

Edward Glasgow is engraved also, possibly Scottish Retailer.

Condition: Good condition with nice surface patination, no losses or dents anywhere, inside gilding is not worn, item possibly never used.
