Stunning French Sevres Soft Paste hand decorated Rich Celeste Blue Porcelain Portrait of French Dutchess of Fontanges enclosed within its original quite rare hand carve polished oak frame. Late Nineteenth Century. Signed at back “De Fontanges Sevres” 

The oval formed portrait shows this affluent Lady in formal dress with flowers to headdress, within a lavish gilt surround. 

Together with a Celeste blue Teacup and a smaller version with similar decoration.  

Condition: Good allover possibly had little use, no losses to porcelain and no wear to gilding, small loss to one carved area, not easy to notice. Base marks as shown, see image.
