An Exceptionally Fine Quality Well Figured Rosewood Library Drum Table of compact proportions, firmly attributed to Gillingtons, Dublin. Circa 1835.
The finely figured rosewood top above a deep frieze incorporating one single and two dummy drawers, all complete with their original wood turned knobs, above a graduated plain turned conical column with finely carved single rope edge detail, on restrained decorative carved base on elaborately carved scroll feet and brass castors.
Condition: Superb condition with good colour and patination. Nice cedar lined drawer which was typical of Gillingtons.
