SUBERB ENGLISH GEORGIAN SIDEBOARD COMPACT SIZE

An Exceptionally Fine Quality English Georgian Flame Mahogany Bow-Fronted Sideboard, with scrolling bell-flower ebony strung inlays, of compact proportions.

Circa last quarter of the Eighteenth Century.

The bow-front shaped top with a central oval shell inlay, crossbanded with boxwood and kingwood above a central oak lined single drawer, with a recessed cupboard below also oak lined, flanked by two full size drawers, raised on six square tapering legs terminating on peg feet. Finished with unusual polished brass decorative ring handles, which are original to this exceptionally fine early piece of English furniture.

Condition: This piece has been professionally lightly restored and is in superb condition, nice surface patination, original brass handles.
