591. Rare Chinese Daoguang Porcelain Gourd Vase 1820-1850

An Extremely Rare Large Size Early Daoguang Period (1820-1850) Chinese Export Porcelain Vase of gourd form and flair rim with unusual original silver metal rimmed mount. 

The main body area decorated in various tones of underglaze blue depicting a busy Chinese Village scene on an off white ground, ending with a lower circular spreading base. 

Condition: Perfect condition with no restoration or losses to porcelain.

This vase is typically of this period unmarked. 

Height: (an impressive) 13" (33cm). Diameter: (at base) 7.75" (19.75cm). Diameter: (top rim) 9"  (22.5cm).
