401. Chinese Canton Porcelain Famille Rose Dome Top Enameled Tea Caddy


Stunning Rare Famille Rose “European-subject” Chinese Porcelain Tea Caddy of fine quality. 

Circa 1780. 

Exquisitely enameled to the front and back face of the dome-shaped rectangular body with Summer Flowers, Garlands and Sprays in colours. The short cylindrical neck surmounted by a slightly domed cover with fruit finial. 

Condition: Exceptionally good condition for such an early piece with no losses to porcelain. Painted colours are fresh, this piece is unmarked.  

Height: (entire as shown on image one) 5.25" (13.5cm). Width: (at widest) 3" (7.5cm). Depth: (just under) 1.5” (3.25cm).
