An Unusually Large and Quite Rare Chinese Export Porcelain Twin Handle Moon Flask of traditional discodial form, with cylindrical neck and stylised handles applied to the lower neck modelled as Dragons.
Hand decorated in underglaze blue on white ground depicting a view of a Chinese Village with a lake and mountains in the distance, above an oval base decorated with a band of lappets, the rear view with similar decoration, of good size proportions, last half of the Nineteenth Century, possibly earlier.
Condition: Good condition, with no losses and no restoration anywhere. Back and front views are similar.
