An Exceptionally Fine Pair of Georgian Style Flame Mahogany Framed Library Chairs made during the last quarter of the Nineteenth Century, the overstuffed large sized seats recently re-upholstered in traditional horse hair and real hide in olive green with a stylish double row of brass strip embellishment on all four sides.
The well curved rail back with stylised lyre splat back, raised on square reeded chamfered legs. Both frames are of good weight retaining their original rich colour and patina.
Condition: Good original solid condition with no repairs, no breaks anywhere.
