210. Stunning Pair French Ormolu Statutory Marble Urns Mid 19th Century


An Exceptionally Fine Quality Pair of French Heavy Gauge Ormolu-Mounted Statutory Marble Garniture Urns in the Louis XV Style, of large proportions, of French origin. Last half of the Nineteenth Century.  

Each pedestal urn body above a swirling socle with lavish cast twin handles, each centered with a scrolling Wreath and mounted with pineapple and beaded finials, on square shallow bases, each raised on four ormolu toupie feet 

Condition:  Superb condition these pieces have been professionally re-gold plated, no losses to marble areas. Back and front views are similar.
