An Exceptionally Fine Quality Matched Pair of Hand Decorated in underglaze blue on white ground Chinese Serving Dishes of shaped oval outline, last quarter of the Eighteenth Century, Qianlong period.
Each central oval reserve painted with a traditional Pagoda and Mountain Landscapes, within a floral and diaper banded border.
Condition: Good condition for such early pieces with no losses or restorations.

The Qianlong Emperor was the sixth Emperor of the Manchu-led Qing Dynasty, and the fourth Qing Emperor to rule over China proper. Born Hongli, the fourth son of the Yongzheng Emperor, he reigned officially from October 1735 to February 1796.
