Stunning Pair of English Ormolu and Patinated Bronze Single Light Candlesticks  of good size proportions modelled as a Pair of Storks, signed ABBOTT. Circa 1840. 

Each exquisitely modelled as standing Storks or Cranes perched on a gilt naturalistic rocky outcrop weighted base. The naturalistically cast oval form ormolu nozzles and drip pans above leaf cast base held aloft by each bird's head.   

Height: (entire) 15.25” (38.5cm). Width: (at base) 6" (15.25m). Depth: (at base) 5.5” (14cm). 

Condition: Superb condition with no imperfections, professionally re-gold plated and bronze patinated. Base mark to one ABBOTT.
