970. Sold. Victorian Cribbage Game Tiger Oak Casket


A Very Unusual Traditional Cribbage Game in a Solid Oak Casket with drawer and ornate silverplated mounted decoration depicting a Horseshoe & Playing Cards, complete with a set of playing cards.

The Game of Cribbage is thought to have been invented in the 17th Century. A challenging card game using a board and pegs to keep track of scores.

Nice Collectors piece with hunting interest.

 

Condition: Mint untouched condition, nice surface patination.

 

Depth: 6.5" (16.5cm). Width: (at widest) 5.5"  (14cm).
