Frank Hider was born in 1861, painted in oils and sometimes watercolours traditional views of coastal and rural landscapes. He lived at Forest Gate in Essex England for a number of years, also painted in parts of Europe and for a short time in Ireland, an Irish painting by him has never been recorded for sale.
