Stylish Pair of German Hand Decorated Mantle Vases of Double Gourd Form, last half of the Nineteenth Century. 

Each with two central reserves with hand paintings depicting romantic couples in Eighteenth century dress in landscape with gilt surrounds on an unusual yellow ground.

Condition: Perfect with no losses, very light wear to gilding.

Base marks usual crossed swords for Dresden Germany.
