An Exquisite French Well Veined Sienna Marble Ormolu & Bronze Mounted Portico Mantle Clock of impressive proportions. Mid to early Nineteenth Century.

The white enamel circular dial with Roman numerals, the front and back hinged door with bevelled edge glass, flanked by four bronze reeded pillars on an ornate rectangular stepped base with four finely cast ormolu supports. 

A solid bronze figure of an Eagle stands proudly on top.

Condition: Professionally serviced, ormolu re-gilt and bronze areas patinated.
