A Very Unusual Ormolu & Silverplated Mantle Clock made by The British United Clock Company, Birmingham, England, retailed by Vanner & Prests, Ormside Street, London. Late Nineteenth Century.

The circular dial with Roman numerals and spade hands. The barrel movement attached to an ormolu horseshoe within a silverplated frame in the form of a stirrup.

Condition: Perfect working order. Light staining to dial, some wear to silvering and ormolu. "STABLE REQUISITES" mark on face.
