Stunning Victorian Anglo-Indian Nagina Hand Carved in Exceptional relief Ebonised Sandalwood Jewellery Casket or Glove Box of Outstanding Quality and unusually generous proportions, intricately hand carved with a central Temple all over with Islamic inspired scrolls, flowers and foliage, in our opinion it originates from Nagina, a town in the Bijnor District in the United Provinces of Eastern India.

The hinged lid with stylish dome form and a double band of Micro Mosiac inlays and bands plain Ivory or Horn stringing.
Condition: Good allover condition with little or no losses, lock is present and working, lacking key.
