A Very Fine George II Walnut Chest of Drawers of Compact proportions and outstanding quality. Circa 1720 of English origin.
The rectangular moulded top with an unusual oval panel, quartered well grained veneered above two over three graduated oak lined drawers with “herringbone” crossbanding, fitted with their original polished brass drop handles and escutcheons. The Chest stands on four bun feet.
Condition: Exceptional for such an early piece, all drawers run very well.
