Stunning English Sterling Silver Tea Caddy of Unusual Oval Outline of Outstanding Quality and Good Heavy Gauge 

The oval straight-sided body richly embossed with floral garlands, the concaved hinged lid with similar decoration and its original plain finial.  

Mark of JD&S for James Dixon & Sons (1835-1920). Cornish Place, Sheffield, England. 

Assayed in Sheffield 1899.   

Condition: Superb, good firm condition, lid closes firmly, no imperfections.
